Author's Comments
This is my second attempt at a tanka. I'm still not completely comfortable in the style. I noticed after the fact that it combines two things found in Laurence's [link] tanka - storms and dogs. It's actually a coincidence I think. It just happens to be storming here right now and my poor dog is going bonkers.
As always I'd really love to hear from the haiku and tanka community how this attempt works in terms of the style. |
